Children who are taken ill or have an accident during school hours will be given first aid treatment adhering to current guidelines. If the injury appears to warrant a visit to the Medical Centre the school will immediately try to contact the parent/guardian in order that they may accompany their child.

Naturally, should a child be unfortunate enough to sustain a serious injury, he/she will be taken immediately to the Medical Centre (by ambulance if this is deemed necessary) accompanied by a member of staff. The office staff will make every effort to contact you so that you can be with your child.

A number of our staff are trained and qualified in first-aid. The list of qualified first-aiders is displayed in the office.
