Well it seems litter picking is a popular pastime amongst our pupils!
Last Sunday, the Pissouri Bay Divers and their families took time out to do a clean of the sea and the shore.
JD, a pupil in Epi's Y5, made a very brave and kind decision recently to have his hair cut in order to donate it to a young girl in Cyprus who has cancer. His blonde ponytail was removed at GP Hairdressing and SSAFA made sure that it went safely on its way to bring comfort to someone else. Well done JD, we are all very proud of you!
After a (small) panic that the box of red noses wouldn't arrive in time, the BFPO team came to the rescue and delivered the box of fun with a few days to go! Pupils were excited to see which type of nose they would wear and there was a lot of joke-telling in school on Red Nose Day! We managed to raise a whopping €1058 for Comic Relief! Well done everyone!
Monday 15th March was Clean or Green Monday here in Cyprus and, after learning the traditions around Lent in the Greek Orthodox Church, children at EPS made and flew their own kites!
Pupils and staff had a lovely day in their pyjamas recently, celebrating World Book Day!
Thank you to everyone who came in and gave their time to inspire our pupils!
Recognise Joe Wicks?! Well he arrived for school with us on Friday 13th November and kept everyone's heart-rates up with some super PE to raise money for Children In Need!
Having arranged it beforehand with Panicos Hadjihambis Erimi Primary School, at the end of National Anti-Bullying Week, we displayed their school's winning posters as well as our own, to share the same important messages.
Congratulations to our year group winners!
